Baitul Mukarram Islamic Society (BMIS) is a non-profit registered Muslim charitable organization that provides a range of social services to the local community in British Columbia.
Beyond prayer and outreach services, we offer voluntary teaching and learning of basic Islamic education, including recitation of the Holy Quran for all ages with Tajweed and understanding its meaning. Our commitment extends to nurturing spiritual growth and community development.
Alhamdulillah, we have begun our journey to establish a central masjid in the heart of Burnaby to serve the growing Muslim community in the Greater Lower Mainland of BC. With the acquisition of a strategically located property, we are working toward creating a comprehensive Islamic center and mosque that will be a beacon of faith and community service.
